The See A Show Group organizes outings to theatres locally in Birmingham, Wolverhamption, Lichfield, Hanley etc and further afield to places such as Sheffield, Manchester and Nottingham. The local trips are normally to an evening performance whilst those further away are for mid-week or Saturday matinees and include free time in the area before the show.
Recent outings, all of which sold out, included Hairspray in Manchester, Tell Me On a Sunday in Lichfield, Nightfright at Crewe, Rossini's Cinderella at Congleton's Clonter Opera Theatre and Chess at Nottingham. Future trips planned but sold out are to Matthew Bourne's version of Prokofiev's ballet Cinderella on 3 February at the Regent, Hanley, the CBSO Friday Night Classics: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber at Symphony Hall, Birmingham on 1 April and Ghost the Musical at Manchester Opera House on 21 April.
Our programme for the summer and autumn is being planned at the moment but already a firm booking has been made for the touring production of the West End musical Sister Act in Oxford with free time before the afternoon matinee on 26 October and a Group celebration 20th Anniversary Lunch with entertainment on Sunday 6 November at the Polish White Eagle Club.
Our coaches pick up at 4 points in Stafford plus Weston and depending on direction of travel stop in the Haywoods, Colwich and Stone
Bookings are only accepted from group members and if you would like to join the group new members are always welcome.
