The group meets fortnightly on a Thursday 14.15 to 15.45 The group listens to pieces of classical music and then discusses the composition and the composer, the history and structure of the works. We are, at present, listening to our very own Hall of Fame, constructed from lists of the group members' personal favourite music. As there is a wide diversity of taste within the group, this will provide and interesting and varied programme. No depth of musical knowledge is required, just an enthusiasm for discovering what music is all about. |
