The group meets Monthly on the First Friday from 14.00
The group covers a wide range of Maths-related topics in a hopefully, not too academic fashion.
Recently we have looked at how we could have won a Nobel Prize using on ly O-level maths, how to tangle
and untangle two pieces of rope and have been to infinity and beyond!
We will not be meeting in September 2017, so will be re-start on 6 October. We will also be arranging a trip
to the MathsJam conference held at Yarnfiel over the weekend of 11/12 November.
Sometimes we have a light-hearted maths quiz, where everyone is encouraged to bring in a couple of maths teasers for the group to solve.
New members are made welcome and you do not require a degree in maths! Having moved to a larger room,
we have lots of space.
